Fishermen's safety a focus in the Faroe Islands

Alda Safety participated in the Atlantic Fair maritime exhibition held in the Faroe Islands recently, where we had very good and useful conversations with ship and operator managers, fishermen and numerous stakeholders in the fishing industry.

At the exhibition, we met, among others, representatives from P/F Varðin Pelagic, Sjónám educators and Sjóvinnustýrið – Faroese Maritime Authority, in addition to having a very nice conversation with the Faroese Maritime Mission. The common interest of all was the safety of fishermen and the importance of good education, procedures and support in the industry.

Atlantic Fair is an important platform for companies and professionals in the fishing industry and the participation was both informative and enjoyable for us at Alda Safety. We sincerely thank the Faroese people for the warm welcome and look forward to our next steps in the Faroe Islands.
